Understanding Menopause
is a short online awareness course for all staff.
Through Emma’s working day, learners explore how menopause can affect different parts of a person’s life and work. The course uses the Humansense Six Dimensions — physical, cognitive, emotional, social, work and environment — to help learners understand the whole person, not just the symptoms.
This course is practical, accessible and human. It does not ask learners to become experts. It helps them build confidence, empathy and everyday awareness so they can respond to colleagues with respect, kindness and understanding.
What Learners Will Discover
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Understand what menopause is and why experiences vary.
- Recognise how symptoms may affect people at work.
- Explore the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, work and environment dimensions.
- Challenge common myths and assumptions.
